I'm Ying Zhu, an interior architect. I've been engaged in interior design for 20 years. I'm from Beijing, China. I founded Beijing Kunze Design Consulting Co., Ltd. in 2017, leading team members to design hotels, clubhouses, offices and exhibition spaces, showing their unique charm in a limited space. The team is committed to designing with environmentally friendly and sustainable materials, and focuses on aesthetics and commercial value. I love traveling. What I see and hear on the trip can enrich my design inspiration. Maintaining love and curiosity for life makes my design innovative all the time.

Yutaifeng Hotel by Ying Zhu Yutaifeng is a resort hotel interior located in Yingshan, China, with a total area of 6,300 square meters. The design is arranged around a central waterscape courtyard and draws on Chinese Jiangnan garden culture. A large dome marks the lobby, while bamboo corridors, corridor corners, tea rooms, restaurants and guest rooms are linked by a garden route along which artworks are placed. Natural materials such as wood and textured paint replace industrial synthetic materials. The lighting reveals light rather than fixtures and is adjusted for different times of day.
