Ruelle 3D Visualization by Amir Cherni Ruelle is a three-dimensional visualization of an old alley in the historic medina of Tunis. The scene was created to capture the atmosphere of the old city center, using a real alley as the reference. All models and textures were made manually from scratch, supported by scans of real surfaces. The irregular shapes, worn materials and decayed surfaces formed the main technical challenge. The geometry was lit and rendered with a physically based render engine, and the still images were produced at 4K resolution.
