Viaduct by Yuksel Proje R&D and Design Center

Cendere Viaduct by Yuksel Proje R&D and Design Center Cendere Viaduct is a transportation structure on the 3-Deck Great Istanbul Tunnel Project which is one of the largest transport infrastructure project planned to be built in Turkey. The most important building element describing design is the steel structure that is covering platform of viaduct. Various parametric analyses have been made to optimally solve the structural orientation. Three dimensional finite element structural analyses of viaduct has been conducted to determine reinforced concrete structural element dimensions. Steel structure is developed for aesthetic purposes.

Metro Station by Yuksel Proje R&D and Design Center

Biophilic Metro Station by Yuksel Proje R&D and Design Center Istanbul Rail System Design Services-Phase 1 connects two green cores, the National Garden and the Belgrade Forests in Istanbul. The line is designed so that it imitates a long green valley connecting the two green cores. The design incorporates parameters of biophilic and sustainable architecture. Visual connection with the outside, natural light and ventilation are allowed through the skylight, and the green wall helps the purification of the air in the station. A salient column that abstracts a tree form is carefully placed to create an emphasis point where crowds can linger.
